From Doctor to Crosswalk Guide:
A Journey Back to What Matters
For years, I dedicated myself to the path of medicine, studying hard, caring deeply, and doing everything I was told would lead to success. But somewhere along the way, I lost touch with the one person I had ignored the most: myself.
Stress, pressure, and constant doing had replaced presence, joy, and connection. I looked accomplished on the outside, but inside, I was worn thin. My body ached, my mind raced, and my spirit felt far away.
So I stepped away, not out of defeat, but out of the deep desire to reconnect.
I didn’t know where the path would lead. I just knew I had to slow down.
Becoming a crosswalk safety ambassador may seem like an unlikely turn. But for me, it was sacred ground.
Each day, I stood still while the world rushed by. I waved. I smiled. I watched.
And in that simple rhythm, I remembered what health really feels like: grounded, connected, alive.
That sidewalk became a sanctuary, where I began to heal, reflect, and reimagine what it means to live well.
I believe we don’t need more hustle, we need more stillness.
I believe healing begins not with a diagnosis, but with awareness.
And I believe the wisdom we seek is often found in the smallest, quietest moments.
Now, through Crosswalk Wisdom, I help others reconnect with themselves
through coaching, reflection, and simple daily practices that nourish the body, mind, and spirit.
Whether you’re feeling out of sync, overwhelmed, or just ready for a new pace,
I’m here to walk with you—one step, one breath, one moment at a time.
